Henry Hound the Dog needs a home
Henry is a very handsome hound, but he's also a sweet and loving boy. He can't seem to get enough attention from his people and will drop whatever he's doing to be petted and cuddled. He's also a lover and likes to give kisses whenever he can. His foster family quickly realized that he hasn't had much training, so they worked with him on some basics. He picked up housebreaking in just a couple of days and had no more accidents. He a very fast learner! He learned not to take food off his family's plates when they were eating and he’s also learning to sit. Henry is a sweet lovable goof, just under two years old, that seems to think he's a lapdog.
He could use a little more work riding in a car. Though he did well on a 3 hour drive up the coast on his foster mama's lap, a crate would be helpful and he will likely get better with more experience.
He has had exposure to children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old and and a smaller dog (8 pounds vs all 77 pounds of Henry) in the home and done very well with all of them. Though outside it might be more likely that the hunting dog instinct could come out and he might chase. Henry also loves to spend time with larger dogs outdoors.
